What is Dye To Order? 
This listing enables you to order any colour from our current colour range on our Exotica DK base in the quantity you need. When you place your order we will then dye it, especially for you.
 
Please allow 2-4 weeks for us to dye your order for you.
How do I order?
Order the total quantity of Exotica DK you need dyed for you. Then in the text field  you can enter the number of skeins you need of which colour/s. So for example you may order 5 skeins in total and in the text field you may want 3 Night Owl and 2 Smitten Kitten.
Make sure to let us know what colours and quantities you need in the text box so as not to delay your order.  
 
Looking for a little luxury? Our Exotica base is a divine combination of soft Merino Wool, Yak and glossy Silk. The natural grey/brown from the yak when mixed with the White Merino and Silk adds a natural depth to the finished dyed yarn.  It would be wonderful in a garment where you want good stitch definition as the construction and fibre content of the yarn gives it a nice bouncy but smooth twist. Perfect!

This listing is for 1 x 100g skein. 
I highly recommend alternating skeins if using more than one skein of the same colour. Not all skeins are dyed together and even those dyed together can vary due to how they are dyed.
 
Note: If you purchase a Dye to Order listing with an in stock item in the same order they will all be sent together when the Dye to Order is complete. If you would like the in stock items sent separately you will need to place a separate order for those items.
 
HOW To LOOK After ME
I am dyed with colour fast acid dyes. I recommend hand washing all hand knits but you can machine wash on a gentle wool cycle with mild detergent. Cold to tepid water and minimal agitation is best. Lay me flat in the shade to dry.
