What is Dye To Order? This listing enables you to order any colour from our current colour range on our Spin DK base in the quantity you need. When you place your order we will then dye it especially for you. If you are ordering more of a colour you already have please send us a message as we will need more details before we can proceed.
Please allow 2-4weeks for us to dye your order for you. We also offer Dye to Order on our Sock Yarn base too which you can order here.
How do I order?
Order the total quantity of Spin DK you need dyed for you. Then in the text field below you can enter the number of skeins you need and which colour you would like. So for example you may order 5 skeins in total and in the text field you may want 3 Night Owl and 2 Smitten Kitten.
Make sure to let us know what colours and quantities you need in the text box so as not to delay your order. We also offer Dye to Order on our Sock Yarn too which you can order here.
Hand dyed Spin DK (8 ply) yarn comprises 100% Superwash Merino. This yarn is against the skin soft and has a tight twist making it especially good for detailed stitch patterns. We searched high and low for the perfect DK weight yarn .... finally the perfect everyday yarn!

Length: Approx. 230m (250yds), 115g (4 oz)
This listing is for 1 x 115g skein. I highly recommend alternating skeins if using more than one skein of the same colour. Not all skeins are dyed together and even those dyed together can vary due to how they are dyed.
Note: If you purchase a Dye to Order listing with an in stock item in the same order they will all be sent together when the Dye to Order is complete. If you would like the in stock items sent separately you will need to place a separate order for those items.
HOW To LOOK After ME
I am dyed with colour fast acid dyes. I recommend hand washing all hand knits but you can machine wash on a gentle wool cycle with mild detergent. Cold to tepid water and minimal agitation is best. Lay me flat in the shade to dry.
